Major programs of study
Communication Design, Illustration, Intermedia, Painting, Printmaking, Photography, Sculpture and General Fine Arts.
Typical curriculum:
Students can generally choose courses (as long as they have the pre-requisites-
courses needed before going into upper level courses) based on advice from their
home school. 400-level courses are not available to exchange students since
the courses are specific to our senior thesis program. Exchange students must
take at least 12 semester credits (4 courses) and can take up to 18 semester
credits (6 courses). Exchange students do take actual classes. Studios are not
currently available to exchange students.
How and when students register for courses at your institution:
Fall registration begins middle of April each year
Spring registration begins middle of November each year
Exchange students can arrange their schedule via email by contacting Pearl
Fisher at pearl@pnca.edu.
Mandatory fees (administrative, application, studio, health, etc.) and
the amounts:
If the student needs health insurance coverage, they will be responsible for
the $400 cost (this increases each year). They may also incur digital printing
fees.
